For those of you who had booths at The Spring Handmade Market ran by Debra A.K.A Vintage Paper Parade I am sure you would have meet "Ella Bella". Now here is a young girl to look up to - she's 11. She's 11 and she sells her art on Etsy. She's 11 and she has sold out of items at 2 shows she has taken part at. Amazing. She seemed to be a pretty normal down to earth kid who just likes to do what we do....she has just started at a younger age then most (or at least for myself) Her clay work is cute and fun - and would bring a smile to most faces upon seeing the creations. I hope you all take a few minutes to just take a glance at her shop - she's pretty creative. Welcome to the Toronto/Ontario Street team Ella Bella - I hope you enjoy your stay and I hope to meet you again one day - maybe at another Etsy Market.

There has been alot of updating going on here for me...I lost alot of stuff with my crash - plus there was the Spring Handmande Market which was a HUGE success!! Congrats to Debra on the AWESOME job!

I have added 24 new shops to our team - which brings our team total to 196 shops! I can't believe it has grown this much! I REALLY want to get people to start being a little more active with the team, so I am going to try to hold a chat at least once a month. I will be polling to get some response on days/times that work for everyone.

I am sad to say that somehow my mailing list got deleted from bravenet somehow...I am still confused at why this happend, but I am going to give it another try - so if you could please sign up again that would REALLY help me out. If you receive a confirmation mailing list email it's due to the fact that I have found the email you sent me with your email addy - so no need to rejoin.

I love the fish - it's awesome. $4.99 (shipping $1.75) There are a few different styles to be found; Elmo, sheep, lady bugs, flowers and ice cream - love them all. Hello Everyone!

Sorry I haven't posted in the last few days - between Easter and the kids getting sick...I haven't been able to do much online. My daughter started things off Friday at midnight and now my son is joining in on the fun of being sick as well. YIKES.

So the Spring Handmade Market is a month tomorrow! WEEE. I am so very excited!! If you are following that blog at all, you will see that there is now a designer profile (which I still have to fill the form out for...sorry...) so make sure you check it out whenever you can so you can see a little insite into the shops that will be at the show!

I am going to be listing the forum I have made up for the team at the end of the week, I will be sending out the first real mailing list email, so be watching for it.

And again for those who want to be apart of the business card swap - please email me so I can send you my address - I can't tell who has said yes and who has said no :)

Ok - so after looking through a few shops, I clicked the link to this shop. OH MY! I fell totally in love - so much that I have requested a custom order! Anne has a beautiful shop, filled with belts, wristbands, bracelets, dog collars and even bags.

My favourite item is the custom order belt ($75 plus $6.50 for shipping) - to me it is just totally stunning, and SO personal - for me at this time, the price tag is a little high - just being a single income family, but I am hoping that I will soon own one myself :) Be sure to check out Anne's shop and give it some love!

I am still waiting to hear from a lot of people - I sent out almost 180 emails and so far have only heard back from 42 people. I was hoping the number would be alot more by now, but that's ok - we can all wait it out a little longer.

Here's my first question to the team:

If people don't email back about being on the team, do you want them to be A: Removed from the team completely - B: Taken off the blog or C: Left on the team - Please note that the only people on the mailing list will be the people who have responded to me about being on the team.



So if you can respond to that poll it would be great! And please note - I have no idea how anyone response - I just get the final numbers :)

For all of you who don't know about vistaprint - you should really check it out. I have ordered from them twice now and have LOVED what I have received in return. The have GREAT deals (if you look around - and know where to find what you are looking for) you can get 250 regular business cards for FREE (plus shipping - on everything I am going to list) and TONS of other stuff for free as well.

Ok - so here is my pick for Friday Feature:

So don't get my wrong, but I am ususally not into the whole "button" thing...but I am really starting to like it, and I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this necklace!!! It's $20 plus $3 shipping - and it's beautiful. So make sure you all check out her shop and show it some love!!!

So I finished updating the blog last night, 54 new members were added to it so I am showing around 177 memebers at this time. I believe I went through all the links and there are no dead shops. Please note though that not all the links are selling shops, we have a few buys in with us - which I think is GREAT. I don't want to limit this team to a certain amount of people, and I don't want to force people to totally be involved - so for now it's just a team, for support and chatting and meeting up and fun stuff like that.

I am going to try to start planning some meet up times for chats - please stay tuned. And if you have not yet sent me your email addy - please do so, so that I can update my mailing list for the team.
